Simpson Aerospace Services and Simpson Alloy Services are growing, family-owned and operated businesses started in 1992, now structured under the parent company of SAS-Inc.
Located in southern Indiana, near Louisville KY, we serve clients nationally , having already completed installations as far away as Hawaii; and having shipped products internationally. At the core of SAS is a strong family belief in building quality equipment, taking a firsthand responsibility for delivering it on time, and assuring our products fit your application and needs.
We have proud agricultural roots. From a tiny start of just 3-acres, Dean and Kathy Simpson built a large family farm business that has expanded into providing farm and trucking services, and selling inputs such as seed and fertilizer.
Son-in-law Coy Stepro and his wife, Amber Simpson Stepro, add engineering and business acumen to the mix. And, Senior Design Engineer Marcus Kembel gives Simpson Aerospace two decades of experience in designing access stands for both commercial and military applications.
Customers of Simpson Alloy Services lean on Coy Stepro’s knowledge of Heat Treat Alloys, and his expertise in designing for the heat treat industry. We are proud to say companies like Toyota Motor Manufacturing Company have called on us for solutions.
Our most recent business expansion happened when a larger aerospace firm asked SAS to build aircraft maintenance stands as a subcontractor. Since then, you might say “we have taken wings”. Today, SAS is a direct provider of aircraft maintenance stands and other Ground Support Equipment (GSE) critical to Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations around the country.
We are ready to serve your needs and do so with a commitment to a trusted, ongoing relationship.
